Michigan’s Upper Peninsula RV Trip
For my wonderful friend Krystle’s 30th Birthday (and surprise proposal!) we planned an epic springtime road trip to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. We found sitters for the pups and rented an RV and a trailer to pull their Jeep for the Memorial Day long weekend. The natural beauty was beyond what we even imagined and our first RV trip was both a fun adventure and definite success. Best of Berrien County Michigan
Every year we have a tradition of getting together with our two best couple friends and our dogs and finding a vacation rental within driving distance of Chicago. We always search Illinois and all the surrounding states but then inevitably find our favorite in Michigan. Most recently, we have found our favorites in Berrien County, a lovely lakefront County at the southwest corner of Michigan. Visiting Warren Dunes State Park
Warren Dunes State Park located, along the Lake Michigan shoreline has a little something for everyone when it comes to outdoor recreation. With its beach, dunes and forest it is three adventures in one. There is a $5 per vehicle cost for entry and plenty of parking. We had a wonderful time checking out all the park had to offer with our dogs. The Beach Warren Dunes State Park has some beautiful sandy beach space right on Lake Michigan. Five Activities Near Grayling, MI
Grayling, Michigan ia an absolutely beautiful area to visit for a relaxing, get away from it all, vacation. We took a truly memorable friends trip there over the summer. Given that it is fairly remote it can be difficult to locate activities to do locally. Especially if like us, your cabin does not have wifi or ability to pick up internet service from our phones.
