8 Photos because you missed Hamilton the Exhibition
Did you check out the Hamilton Exhibition in Chicago? We checked it out on it’s very last day running and are so grateful we did. If you missed it you’re in luck as I have compiled our favorite photos so you can have a taste of the gorgeous scenes until they hopefully move it on to the next city and you get a second chance.
This lovely statue greeted you at the entrance of the site on Northerly Island. An off the beaten track location but it was worth the trek.
The first exhibit immerses you in the Caribbean of Alexander Hamilton’s childhood; focusing on his poverty and the trading history of the port, particularly in slaves.
*Ryan’s Top Pick
As a true Britt, this was Ryan’s favorite. It represents the 1400 British troops sent into New York Harbor.
The ballroom featured numerous golden statues representing important persons in Hamilton’s life and times along with their own specific audio. Here Ryan poses with Hamilton himself.
This room is fairly self-explanatory; a beautiful architectural representation of the 1800 election. Hamilton’s words reportedly swayed the results.
The Iconic Duel between Hamilton and Burr. This room also included side by side timeline of Hamilton’s last 32 hours and Burr’s last 32 years of life in this.

As with the Musical we close out with this iconic line. It references Hamilton’s dear wife Eliza and her devotion to maintaining her husband’s legacy. The exhibition additionally ends with a musical sneak peek in 3D (no photos allowed).
